About Us

The Divide County Ambulance District was formed in the early 1980s to serve as the ambulance service for Divide County. In 2015, the ambulance service transitioned from volunteer to full time with the help of a staffing and management company. In 2017, the service introduced Paramedics.

In 2018, the Divide County Ambulance District moved to its own staffing and management. The ambulance service is a frontier ambulance service covering approximately 1000 square miles of rural land. We primarily transport patients to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Crosby, but will occasionally transport to St. Alexius Medical Center in Williston or Tioga Medical Center.

Our Paramedics work in a delegated practice, and are privileged by our Physician Medical Director.

Our Staff

Our staff work tirelessly around the clock every day to ensure the patients of Divide County receive the best care available. With first responders, EMTs, Paramedics and administrative staff working together, patient-centered care is at the forefront of mind.

Leadership

Our leadership team is dedicated to serving public interest, and we strive to provide world class prehospital emergency medicine and retrieval medicine to our community.

Board of Directors

Our board of directors and leadership team are committed to strong governance based on sound ethical and legal processes, and actions consistent with our mission statement and values.

Effective governance requires sound ethical and legal processes and as a non-profit charitable organization, this means sound stewardship of our resources.

We recognize our governance responsibilities to all stakeholders including our patients, government bodies, health authorities, emergency service providers, corporate and community donors, volunteers, employees and the general public, and are committed to promoting a healthy, productive and effective organization.
